Korea Railroad Co. (KORAIL) will operate a special KTX train service from Incheon International Airport to Gwangju-Songjeong Station during the FINA World Championships in Gwangju. From July 9 to 29, four trains will run to Gwangju-Songjeong Station, with three trains returning to Incheon International Airport daily.
Gwangju is hosting the 18th annual FINA World Championships, an international swimming competition organized by the International Swimming Federation. The championship will start on July 12 with an opening ceremony, followed by 16 days of competition in six water sport disciplines. Fans and athletes alike can easily travel from the airport to the competition venues thanks to this temporary train. Train schedules and ticket prices can be found on the official KORAIL website.
